Breakfast Scheme

“There are people in the world so hungry, that God cannot appear to them except in the form of bread.” ― Mahatma Gandhi

We’re all familiar with the saying, “breakfast is the most important meal of the day” – and there’s certainly a lot of truth behind it. Breakfast literally means ‘break the fast’, as most people won’t have eaten for at least eight to 10 hours. For children, who eat their dinner earlier in the evening, this fast can be even longer.

Children of BSP Girls Inter college belong to very poor family so BSP Education Society have launched a pilot program to provide breakfast for the student upto 5th standard from 26 October 2013.

As we know that milk is very but essential for the children so a glass of milk with wholegrain cereal and a piece of fruit is also included for breafast. The Breakfast program cover 145 Primary Grade Students (3 years to 8 years of age). This program is also benefitting in bringing the social change. The students from higher grades (10th-12th) are volunteering to perform different activities such as cleaning, serving, and feeding the young students etc. This program is sponsored by Anis Khan,Niraj Parikh and AbhayDixit.
